Grace Saeki was born and raised in Japan and came to the United States to study rehabilitation medicine and public health administration at age 16. Since 1989, she has been self-employed as a Japanese–English simultaneous and conference interpreter, specializing in PDMA audits and QMS in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. She has grown her business by word of mouth and has worked closely with well-known Fortune 500 and Nikkei 225 companies and international projects with the U.S., Japanese, and E.U. governments.

Grace holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in occupational science and occupational therapy from the University of Southern California (USC) and a master’s in public health (MPH) from UCLA. Grace is a licensed occupational therapist and licensed real estate broker in the state of California. She has served as a USC Ambassador since 2005 and has been a board member of the USC Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, School of Dentistry, since 2008. In 2013, she and her husband, Daniel Ho, established a scholarship to support USC graduate students. 

Grace lives in Los Angeles and has traveled extensively for her interpretation work—having logged more than 2 million miles on Japan Airlines alone. She enjoys helping U.S. and Japanese business people come together to achieve their mutual goals. Grace also works as a motivational speaker and wellness coach and is the best-selling author of “One Minute Feng Shui for Prosperity.” Grace is a certified Japanese tea ceremony associate professor for the Urasenke school of tea.
